She was predeceased by: her parents, Summer Fussell and Zilla Fussell; her husband Hugh Morgan Smith; and her brother S. Bertell Fussell. She is survived by: her son Gregory Smith (Susan); and her niece Kay Croy (Willie). She is also survived by several great nephews and one great niece.
