He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis James Brantley and Hazel Brantley (Hall). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ann Brantley (Evans); his sons, Chris Brantley (Crystal) of Punta Gorda and Terry Brantley of Arcadia, Florida; his grandson Jacob; his great-grandparent Terry; his grandparents, Brody, Berkley and Crystal; and also Chris.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home (50 N Hillsborough Ave, Arcadia, FL 34266).
In memory of James and his lifelong love of sports and support of young athletes, the family requests donations be made to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Charlotte County FCA.
