It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Elizabeth Dees of Arcadia, Florida, born in Fort Ogden, Florida, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert V. Barnwell and Minnie E. Grantham Barnwell; her son-in-law Kenny Carlton; her brother Earl Barnwell; her great grandchild Amber Ruiz; and her great great grandchild Serenity Hines.
She is survived by: her son Richard Dees (Patricia A.) of Punta Gorda, FL.; and her grandchildren, Kathy D. Carlton of Arcadia, Sandra D. Ritch (Jessie) of Arcadia, Vickie D. Mercer (Ronnie) of Arcadia, Jody Mosley, Justin Carlton, Dalton Carlton, Leslie Roe, Lewis Ritch, Jana Putnal, Renee McCall, Aimee Keller, Amber Taylor, Jennifer Baxter, Brandi Ertle and Brandon Mercer. She is also survived by Thirty-three great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and three nephews.
