It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aida Iris Ocasio Melendez of Arcadia, Florida, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisca Melendez and Florencio Ocasio; and her daughter Iris Nereida Morales Ocasio. She is survived by: her siblings, Alberto, Gloria, Bernardina and Hilda; and her children, Miriam E. Morales Ocasio (Alfredo Gomez), Jose H. Morales Ocasio, Raul Morales Ocasio, Nicolas Morales Ocasio (Maricruz Alvarado) and Samuel Morales Ocasio. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
