He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Matyskiela; and his brother Gary Matyskiela. He is survived by: his brother Terry Matyskiela (Linda); his children, Tracy Matyskiela (Joan) and Stacy Tomeo (Chris); his grandchildren, Jaime, Kimberly, Jennifer, Rocky and Joey; and his pet Brodie. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to any local American Legion or VFW in John's name as he was a dedicated to veteran affairs.
