She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Mand (Vogel) and Robert Mand; and her siblings, Steve Mand, Ken Mand and Mary Kolbe.

She is survived by: her siblings, James Mand, John Mand (Patricia), Patricia Mand, Robert Mand (Karen), Michael Mand, Susan Koehler (Larry), Bridget Engel, David Mand (Ann) and Barb Mand (Dick Elliott); her daughter Erica Syed (Rehan); her grandchildren, Sakina, Naseer and Zarina; her sons, David Scholz and Jared Scholz (Emily); her grandchildren, Kai, Calvin and Leo; and her caregiver Joan.
