It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Robbins (Apopka, Florida), born in Daytona Beach, Florida, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest L. Johnson and Alice Malcolm Johnson. She is survived by: her spouse Jerry R Robbins; her daughters, Stacey Hurley (Mike Hurley) and Karrie Anderson (James Anderson); her sister Barbara Denise Knowles; her grandchildren, Tanner, Tabatha Hurley, Madison Hurley, Tate Anderson and Abigail Anderson; and her great grandchild Emerson Hurley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
During her 30-year tenure, she was honored with the Manned Space Flight Awareness Award in 1992, a testament to her dedication and contributions to the field.
