He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayford Burnette and Marjorie Burnette; and his brother Mike Burnette. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Burnette; his in-laws, Don and JoAn Suttle; his sister-in-law Robin "Benjie" Benefield; his daughters, Laura Brewer, Stephanie Kilby (Andrew) and Miranda Johnson; his son-in-law Brian Ezell; his sister Becky Murray; his grandchildren, James "David", Christina of Lucas, JR, Peyton, Donald "Caden", Cody, Cash, Colton and Connor; and his nieces and nephews, Matt (Ashley), Blair, Zach, Kim (Josh) and Malina.
