He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lee Stapleton; his children, Diana of Alabama and Benny Jr. of Pennsylvania; his stepson Lee Dobbs of Montana; and his brothers-in-law, Sonny White (Willie Mae) of South Carolina and Chuck Meadows of Florida. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
