He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hinton; his children, James Benton Carter (Nancy) of Cape Fair, MO and Kayla Dillard (Richard) of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Kamille Camden (Matt), Rachael Quinn (Bobby) and Jared Benton Counts (Catalina); and his sister Donna Lee (David) of Mesa, AZ.
