Marlene Martin Barkett wrote a sympathy message

“Karen and family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Allen was a great first cousin and I have many fond childhood memories of him. He was very fun loving and I remember him dressing up as Frankenstein and popping out of a dark room scaring me and my sisters to death. We also went sledding with him down their front hill during the winters. Allen was my dad’s favorite nephew. He loved his family, Grandma Martin, and extended family very much. We were blessed to have him in our lives.”
