He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Phillips and Grace Marie Tarallo Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Ann McDaniel Phillips; his daughter Tammy; his son-in-law Tommy Phillips of Monroe; his son John; his daughter-in-law Amanda Phillips of Snellville; his sister Joan; and his brother-in-law Larry Harness of Lawrenceville. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
