We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2021, at the age of 88, Sarah Finch of Amelia Island, Florida, born in Roanoke, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Hood Finch; and her parents, Robert Luther Durham and Ruth Braswell Durham. She is survived by: her children, Robert Finch (Jean) of Lafayette, LA, Kenneth Finch (Theresa) of Ankeny, IA and Elizabeth Barickman (Mark) of Basking Ridge, NJ; her brother Bobby Durham (Patsy) of Roanoke, AL; and her grandchildren, Robert Finch, Tamara Finch, Steven Finch, David Finch, Christopher Finch, Mattison Barickman and Anna Barickman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sarah's name to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 400 Camellia Boulevard, Lafayette, LA 70503.

“My deepest condolences to the family of Sarah. She was my father's cousin (Donald G. Braswell, Sr). He and my mother enjoyed many special visits together in Amelia Island, Atlanta, and Winter Park, Fl. My father passed away on December 31, 2011 in Atlanta and my mother (Lurene S. Braswell) recently passed away on December 28, 2021. I know they are all seeing each other again in Heaven. Linda Braswell Bailey, daughter of Donald G. Braswell, Sr. and Lurene S. Braswell”
