He is survived by: his wife Joan Keener Bowden of Amelia Island, Florida; his stepchildren, James C. Keener, Jr. (Elaine) of Cumming, Russell G. Keener (Angie) of Marietta, Georgia and Amanda M. Agnew of Greenville; his stepgrandchildren, Stephen Keener (Tania), Alison Francis (Ryan), David Keener (Caitlin), Austin Keener, Aaron Keener, Justin Keener and Bella Agnew; and also, Julia, Carter, Avery Francis and Mila Keener.
