With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Hicks Luffsey (Amelia Island, Florida), born in Bumpass, Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee Hicks and Gertrude Nicholas Hicks; her husband Walter Stith Luffsey; her son Dennis Glenn Luffsey; and her siblings, Corrine Winston, Lois Perkins, Elsie Bumgarner, Milton Hicks and Walter Garland Hicks.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Jones; her son-in-law Jack Jones; her grandchildren, Jack Jones (Lauren), Scott and Kelly; and her great grandchildren, Griffin, Charlie and Jackie.
