He is survived by: his sister Patricia Bailey of Raleigh; his children, John Houston Barker II of Elizabeth and Karen Murphy of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Nicole Dalton, Adriel Wilcox, Houston, Lindsey and Marshall Barker; and his great grandchildren, Zaby and Zofie Wilcox.
