John D. Muir Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2022, at the age of 74, John D. Muir of Amelia Island, Florida, born in Toronto, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Muir and Clifford Muir; and his brother David Muir. He is survived by: his grandson Jack; his wife Jane Savory Muir; his daughter Tara Jane Muir; his son-in-law John Burke Cahill Jr.; his grandson John Burke Cahill, III (Jack) of Mount Pleasant, S. C.; his sisters-in-law, Linda Gordon of Sault Ste, Marie, Susan Tesar of Viera, Florida and Linda Muir of Simcoe, Ontario.; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Valerie, Karen, Steven and James.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Florida Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration Program at the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases, 3009 SW Williston Road, Gainesville, Florida 32608, to advance the understanding and treatment of Parkinson's Disease.
