She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Sloan and Charles R. Sloan; and her stepmother Grace Sturkie Sloan. She is survived by: her husband Tom Lewis Sr. of Wilmington; her children, Brent Lewis (Courtney) of Atlanta, GA, Lora Ellis (Layton) of Fernandina Beach, FL., Tom Lewis, Jr. and Mary Ann Stewart of New Bern, NC.; and her sisters, Suzanne Sloan of Columbia, Susan Tollison of Lexington and Jodi Tollison Robinson of Atlanta, GA.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.
