She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Richard K. Pitler; her parents, Wilbur Higbie and Grace Higbie; her son David; and her brother Wilbur Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Pitler (Michele Bergeron) and Andrew Pitler; her daughter-in-law Patricia Pitler; her grandchildren, Emily Pitler, Lauren Kansupada, Will Pitler and Chris Pitler; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Claire Guha and Olivia Kansupada.
