He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernestine Turkel (Holzman) of New Jersey and Sidney Turkel; his daughter Iris Turkel; the mother of his child Sarah Turkel Gillim of Indiana; his sister Amy Turkel Otis of Florida; his stepdaughter Naomi Lauriston of Florida; and also Gabriela Turkel of Washington.
