He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Starr and Lilian Starr. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Starr of Alva, FL; his children, Elizabeth Starr (Mark DiMasicio) and Peter Starr (Anne Marie Starr); his granddaughter Lilian Starr; and his brother Richard Starr (Patricia Starr).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
