She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Jean Williams and Donald C. Barber; and her stepfather Harry L Williams. She is survived by: her husband Edward M. Buff; her children, Eric M. Buff (Liz) and Dawn M. Buff (Jim Minchin); her adoptive daughters, Renee, Ramona and Robin Wilson; her grandchildren, Vivian Stiagle Bailey (Jim) and Jordan Perea; her great grandchild Havanna Othon; and her brothers, Donald M. Barber (Anne) and David A. Williams (Richi).

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made in Anita's memory to Hope Hospice located at 9470 Healthpark Circle Fort Myers, FL 33908.
