She is survived by: her sons, James Edwin Slater Jr. (Natalia) of Leesburg, FL, Jesse Earl Slater (Leigh) of Mount Dora, FL and Thomas Richard Slater of Altoona, FL; and her sisters, Helen Pate of Timpson, TX and Alvina Hilburn of Tempson, TX. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
