He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Bottcher. He is survived by: his parent Reme; his wife Joyce (Jody); his daughter Renie; his son-in-law Mark; his daughters, Amy and Wendy; his son-in-law Brandon; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Lauren, Collin, Gavin and Megan; his brothers, Bill and Mike; his sister-in-law Karen; his brother Tom; and his sister-in-law Kathy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that a donation be made to one of Jim's favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
