It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William James of Altha, Florida, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ira James, III and Thelma Louise Fowler James; his aunts and uncles, Linda Farley, Jackie Parris, Virginia Ray, Bill Fowler and Steve Fowler; and his cousins, David Ray, Michael Johnson and Garnet Parris.
He is survived by: his wife Keela Mia James; his children, Heather Coley (Jimmy), Jennifer Davis, Samantha Sanderson (Cecil) and William "Andy" James; his grandchildren, Hannah Cox (Wade), Gage Coley (Maddie) and Iris Sanderson; his stepmother Shirley James; his sister Wanda James; his stepsisters, Sharon Chason (Richard), Sheryl Branning (Lee) and Robin McDaniel; his nephews, Dustin "Dusty" Duffey (Lori), Tyler Smith and Christopher Claghorn; his aunts, Evelyn Johnson, Beverly Fowler and Pam Fowler; his cousins, Wayne Fowler, Dixie Brookins, Russell Fowler, Rebecca Douglass, Dawn Sumner, Tim Ray, Chris Ray, Ginny Lynne Lenning, Tony Wilhoit, Peggy Wilhoit and Carletta Cannon; his friends, Steve Kozma and Joe Griffin; and his pets, Peanut and Buddy.
