It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Shelton of Altha, Florida, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe E. Summerlin and Martha Summerlin (Whitfield); her sons, Harold, Ralph and Lamar Shelton; her siblings, James E. "Bud" Summerlin, Lucille Watford, Elizabeth Whiley and Lois Traylor; and her grandchildren, Ken, Tony and Kellie Shelton.
She is survived by: her siblings, J. L. Summerlin (Myrl) of Altha, Margie Hollis of Altha and Louise Nichols of Sink Creek; her grandsons, Greg Shelton (Shelia K.) of Altha, Andy Shelton (Ramona) of Marianna and Brent Shelton (Lesley) of Spanish Fort, Alabama; and her daughters-in-law, Lenore, Judy and Shelia D. Shelton of Altha. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, twelve great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
