He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ervin and Annie Lou McClain; and his siblings, Lorine Clements, Nadine Carver, Opal Chambers, Nelmer Hallford, Earl McClain, Collivee McClain and Winifred McClain (Winky).
He is survived by: his wife Sonyl McClain; his children, Linda McClain Potter (Kevin), Lynn McClain (Paula), Glen McClain (Tracey) and Ivey McClain (Delicia); his grandchildren, Chris McClain (Tanice), Jeremy McClain, Hanna Richards (Alex), Ryan McClain (Heather), Erica Turner (Michael), Colton Sapp, Kaci McClain, Tyler McClain (Elizabeth), Kyle Potter, Madison McClain, Malachi McClain, Jackson McClain and McKenzie McClain; and his great grandchildren, Christopher McClain, Landon Richards, Aiden Richards, Logan McClain, Noah McClain, Hailey McClain, Jace Sapp, Greyson Stinson, Emery McClain and Emma Potter.
