He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Little James and Faye Constance Chason (Connie); his wife Connie; his siblings, Harold E. Godwin, Willie James Godwin and Diane; his siblings-in-law, Raymond Jerkins, Fred and Peggy Chason; his children, Kyle (Judy Godwin), Jonathan (Debbie Godwin) and Nancy (Jeff Moon); and his grandchildren, Jacob Godwin, Casey Godwin, Matthew Godwin, Alex (Caitlin Godwin), Andrew Godwin, Kayla (Daniel Henao), Cheyenne Moon and Chason Moon.
