He was predeceased by: his father Barney Lee Shelton; and his brothers, Harold and Ralph Shelton. He is survived by: his mother Lorene Summerlin Shelton; his wife Shelia D. Shelton of Altha; his children, Andy Lamar Shelton (Ramona) of Marianna, Brent Deason Shelton (Lesley) of Spanish Fort, Alabama and Karen LaDease Shelton of Altha; and his grandchildren, Emma Whitehead, Alexa Eanes, River Shelton, Leah Whitehead and Cole Shelton.
