Becca Ottaway wrote a sympathy message

“My beautiful, silly, sweet, incredibly strong momma. The cancer took you so fast but one thing it never did was take away your spirit. No matter what trials you faced you always faced them with your head held high and a smile on your face. You always cared more about everyone around you being happy. You just kept telling us to be strong and not to be sad. Even through this, you were what kept us strong and kept us together. Because you are, have always been, and will always be the truest definition of being someones rock. And for whatever reason god decided it was your time, i believe its because someone like you was just too good for this world. But someone like you brought light to ever persons life who had the pleasure of knowing you. I don't think ill ever wrap my head around losing you and i dont know if i ever want to be okay with it. But i do know that i will forever cherish the short 22 years i got with you, and the 2 years you got with my little penelope because i know just how much you loved her. Im forever grateful and forever lucky to have had you as a mom, to be apart of someone so strong and brave. I love you beyond this world. And wherever you are now, just know there isnt a second youre not on my mind and in my heart. I love you so so much, and i miss you even more every day. And i promise to keep you proud and if im lucky, turn out to be half the mother that you always have been. I love you momma, for forever and a day to the moon and back. Love, your daughter, Becky ??”
