He is survived by: his daughter Erin Gerhart; his son-in-law Michael Gerhart; his granddaughter Caroline Gerhart; his son Patrick Delaney; his daughter-in-law Lindsey Delaney; his brother William P. Delaney of St. Louis, Missouri.; and his mother-in-law Kathie McDonald.
