He was predeceased by: his parents, Justino Rivera Cruz and Maria C. Baez. He is survived by: his children, Mayra Rivera Nieves of Alabama, Nayda Hodges Rivera of Alabama, Ovidio Rivera Rivera of Alabama and Omayra Rivera Rivera of Orlando, Florida; and his siblings, Maria Cristina Rivera Baez, Francisca Rivera Baez, Marcelina Rivera Baez, Jorge Luis Rivera Baez and Blanca Elba Rivera Baez. He is also survived by Eleven Grandchildren.
