With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nelida Rodriguez (Altamonte Springs, Florida), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nelida left this world on December 20, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Figueroa and Antonia Fernandez; her husband Abraham Nelson Rodriguez; and her siblings, Francisco "Panchin" Figueroa and Carmen "Yully" Figueroa.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Figueroa of Queens and Jose "Chieto" Figueroa of Altamonte Springs; and her children, Evelyn Rodriguez (Roman), Abraham "Nelson" Rodriguez, Jr. (Gail), Irving Rodriguez, Lourdes T. Serrano (Stanley), Robert Rodriguez (Anita) and Frank L. Rodriguez (Naomi). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701). A Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817). Viewing will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701).
The family request that in Lieu of Flowers, a donation in Nelida's memory be made to her favorite children's organization: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
