He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard, Sr. DiTano and Frances DiTano (Recchia); his wife Patricia Pazik Scharf; his sister Vincenza Tedesco; and his stepchildren, Steven Scharf (Donna Talerico), Diana Raymond (Walter), Paul Scharf, Susan Scharf and Michael Scharf (Lisa). He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren.
