He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Smith and Titus Smith; his son Richard Smith; and his stepdaughter Kelly Goodman. He is survived by: his wife Jewel Smith; his daughter Kimberly Smith; and his grandsons, William Nelson, Matthew Goodman and Kevin Goodman.
