It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernie Goodwin of Altamonte Springs, Florida, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Goodwin and Lena May Goodwin; his former wife Billie Goodwin; his children, Judy Ponec and Jeff Jackson; his granddaughter Heather Jackson; his wife Marilyn Goodwin; and his stepson Glen Bernhard (Buddy).

He is survived by: his children, Janice Jackson, Jerry Jackson (Tina), John Jackson (Mary), Lori Little (Bill) and Yvonne Metheny; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Joey, Kari, Travis, Monica, Mollie, Morgan, Shayne, Nash and Valerie. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
