She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Henry and Margaret Elizabeth Metzger (Johnson); and her husband Joseph Michael Verlander. She is survived by: her family Virginia; her children, Mary V. Van Brunt (Blake), Michael Verlander (Christina) and Paul Verlander (Pam); and her brother Robert Metzger (Merrily). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
