She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Ruiz Santiago and Josefina Ruiz; her husband Carlos M. Rodriguez; her brother Juan Ruiz; and her brother-in-law Heriberto Sanchez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lillian Cotto (Ismael), Maribel Padilla (Luis M.) and Bruni Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Melisa, Ismael, Josue Cotto, Luis-Miguel, Gabriel-Carlos, Daniel-Antonio and Karisa-Mariel Padilla; her great grandchildren, Wesley, Rowan Rohrback, Gabriel Padilla (Gabrielito) and Mateo Padilla; and her siblings, Nelly, Nerieda, Francisco and Maria J. Ruiz.
The family has requested that no flowers be sent, however condolences can be sent to his residence.
