She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lewis Dakel; her parents, Bertha Irene (Graves) and William Henry Hatfield; and her sisters, Erma Cath (Patterson) and Mary Jean Wooster.

She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Dakel (Jan) and Mark Dakel (Karen); her grandchildren, Joshua Dakel (Lupita), Kiara Dakel, Kyle Dakel, Justin Dakel (Jennifer) and Timothy Dakel; and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Wes, Finn and Gabriel.
