Carolyn Shaffer wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Cano Family: Ana was a most unique person in so many ways. She was passionate about life, her family, friends, and the Mother of Jesus. She was happy digging in the dirt outside of her home/her farm and she was also happy working in her home doing all kinds of projects which included her fantastic cooking which she was eager to share with people. As she used to say quite often describing so many things "is delicious". RIP, dear friend. I shall miss you. Love, Carolyn (Shaffer)”
