Murlene A. Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Murlene A. Smith (Alford, Florida), born in Chipley, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred "Big Pa" Corbin and Julia "Big MaMa" Corbin; her husband Princtiss O. Smith; her siblings, Nella, Bud, Jake, Glenn, Bill, Curtis, Dalton, Cuelon, Madelyn and Betty "Sunshine"; and her children, Timothy and Judy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Turner (Pat) of Alford, FL and Charlene Smith (Steve Petorak) of Alford, FL; her granddaughters, Trisha Black (Shane) of Athens, AL and Amanda Braddock of Birmingham, AL; and her great grandchildren, Victoria Moore (Martin) of Auburn, AL and Harrison Black of Athens, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Alford Assembly of God Church.
