He is survived by: his wife Carol Canant Rogers; his children, Kathy Rogers, Sharon Milton (Michael John), James Rogers Jr. and Rickey Chesteen (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Jamie Rogers, Levi Rogers, Amanda Odom (Ben), Heather Chesteen, Michael John Milton II, Adam Johnson (Mackenzie) and Eron Garrett (Dale); his great grandchildren, Paige, Deacon Rogers, Eleanor, Oliver Odom, Criston, Ruth, Willis Johnson and Peyton Garrett; and his brothers, Robert Rogers (Diane), Edward Rogers (Aggie) and Thomas Rogers (TJ).
