He is survived by: his children, Derek Benefield of Marianna, Levi Benefield of Cottondale, Urijah Brannon of Alford, Atreyu Brannon of Alford and Lisa Roth of Alford; his siblings, Shaun Allen Benefield (Angela) of Georgetown, Christopher Lee Benefield of Alford and Vicki Lynn Benefield Barber (Dewayne) of Cottondale; and his close friend Donnie Shores, Jr. of Kynesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
