He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Roland Sample and Ellen Martin Sample; his wife Jo Ann Sample; and his brother Lynn Sample. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Sample of Panama City, FL and Shelby Sample of Alford, FL; his sisters, Colleen Avery (Elenor) of San Antonio, TX, Teresa Taylor (Gene) of Sylacauga, AL and Vicki Padgett (Tom) of Warner Robbins, GA; his grandchildren, Sean Sample (Constance), Daniel Pizzulo (Ariel), Felicia Baxley (Jeffery), Jordan and Tapanga Sample; and his great grandchildren, Elijah and Cecilia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
