She was predeceased by: her parents, Pharo Seay and Reathey Seay (Brock); her husband Buford Thompson; and her stepson Lenny Thompson. She is survived by: her daughters, Voncile Kent (Armond) and Lucy Hoelzer; her stepson Bennie Thompson (Melody); and her sisters, Mildred Tharpe and Emma Seay. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
