She was predeceased by: her daughter Syble Melvin; and her parents, Joe Melvin and Rushie Melvin. She is survived by: her siblings, David Melvin (Faye) and Mary Alice Reese; her children, Judy Sanders (Mack) and Kenny Griffin (Mary Nell); and her grandchildren, Jeffery Sanders, Renae Sanders, Tanya Branton, Michelle Maikisch, Michael Melvin, Kevin and Brad Griffin.
The family asks that attendants wear facemask and social distancing is requested.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to two organizations she truly loved, Alford Assembly of God or Alford Community Organization.
