He was predeceased by: his parents, W. J. Aderholt and Mary Aderholt; and his siblings, Pat Townsend, Mamie Petersen, Lizzie Collins, Lloyd Aderholt and Roy Aderholt.
He is survived by: his sons, Paul Shinholster, Larry Shinholster and Russell Aderholt; and his sister Ruby Williams of Lake City, FL. He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
