It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. LaValley in Alachua, Florida, born in Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus LaValley and Irene LaValley (Spooner); and his brothers-in-law, Harry LaHue and Michael Wells. He is survived by: his close friend Betty Harris; his children, Michael LaValley, April Perroni (John) and Yara LaValley; his grandchildren, Aston, Morgan, Paige and Jack; his siblings, Terry LaValley (Cara), Avis Foster (Ronald) and Deborah Wells; and his close friend Doug Evens. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family.
