She was predeceased by: her father John Smehil; her husband Matthew Svajgert; her brother John E. Smehil; and her son Thomas Svajgert. She is survived by: her mother LaVera Smehil; her siblings, Judith Nelson (Charles), Penny Wren (Donny) and Dean Smehil (Joan); her sister-in-law Cathy Radanovich; and her daughters, Rebecca Svajgert (Steve) and Kimberly Miller (Peter). She is also survived by four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
