It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlowe Leroy Smith of Alachua, Florida, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Smith of Lake Butler; his children, Wade Smtih (Lu Ann) of Alachua, Pamela Dampier of Alachua and Blair Smith (Robin) of Rocky Top, TN; and his siblings, Reed of North Carolina, Marie of North Carolina and Shirley of North Carolina. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
